This is a super cute adventure at Denmark Animal Farm, located at 2019 Scotsdale Road. The hands-on farm lets you pat, cuddle, and even feed loads of friendly animals.
Don’t miss the koala feeding at 10 am and baby animal bottle feeding at 3 pm – so sweet.

Elephant Rocks in William Bay National Park is super cool, with huge granite rocks that look just like a herd of elephants chilling on the beach.
This sheltered spot is awesome for a unique photo and a gentle paddle. Make sure to get the timing right, on high tide, you might find yourself wading through water to get back to the carpark!

Prepare to be amazed by the super amazing Greens Pools in William Bay National Park! Green Pools is next to Elephant Rocks, you’ll be able to visit both in one day. Crystal-clear turquoise water protected by giant boulders makes this spot perfect for a safe and calm swim.
It’s like a natural swimming pool. Plan to spend way longer than you think you need, the day will get away from you here!

How many days do you need in Denmark, WA?
You could easily spend 2-4 days in Denmark. This gives you enough time to explore beaches like Greens Pool, hike to Monkey Rock, discover the town’s charm, and maybe even do a wine tour or the Valley of the Giants drive.
It’s an amazing place to slow down and soak it all in, with that in mind, we spent 2 weeks, then came back for another few weeks and still haven’t seen it all!
Is it worth visiting Denmark, WA?
Absolutely! If my family lived closer to Denmark, I would seriously be considering a move there!
Can you swim in the ocean at Denmark, WA?
Yes, you can definitely swim in the ocean at Denmark. Popular spots include Ocean Beach, which is even patrolled by the Denmark Surf Life Saving Club during peak times.
The super amazing Greens Pools is also a fantastic and generally safe spot for a swim, thanks to the protection of offshore rocks. Just always be aware of ocean conditions and any local safety advice, like at any beach.
